This Privacy Policy describes how Wi|dz:Verse Line (“the app”) handles information when you prepare poem scores, add phrasing marks, record readings, and compare phrasing versions on your device. The app is operated by Tri Triyono (Indonesia). If you have questions, contact eibarra2001988@gmail.com.
What the app does with your content
Wi|dz:Verse Line is a reading-preparation tool. You type or paste poem text (with line breaks preserved), add phrase boundaries, pause markers, emphasis marks, and optional version names. You may record yourself reading while viewing the score. The app analyzes each recording on your device to estimate voiced and silent intervals, then shows an approximate alignment between those measured intervals and your marked score lines and pauses. It does not transcribe speech, recognize words, or judge your delivery.
Information stored on your device
The app keeps the following locally, using on-device storage (including metadata managed by the app and audio files in app-private storage):
- Poem titles and source text you enter.
- Phrasing versions: marks (phrase boundaries, pauses with durations, emphasis), version names, and timestamps associated with saves.
- Reading recordings you create, plus derived timing data (such as measured voiced and silent segments and alignment summaries shown in the score timeline).
- App preferences you set, such as a default duration for new pause markers.
This content remains on your iPhone unless you delete it or remove the app. We do not operate user accounts for this app, and the product design described for Wi|dz:Verse Line does not include uploading your poems or recordings to our servers.
Microphone access
The app requests microphone access only when you start a reading recording. Audio is captured locally for analysis and playback within the app. If you deny access or a recording contains no measurable sound, the app shows an on-screen explanation; you can retry recording or adjust system privacy settings for the app. Denying the microphone does not send data to us—it simply limits recording features on your device.
Network and third-party services
Core score editing, recording analysis, version comparison, and library storage are designed to work on-device. This policy does not describe separate analytics packages, advertising networks, or cloud sync, because those behaviors are not part of the documented product. Standard iOS system services (for example, permission dialogs) may still apply as provided by Apple.
What we do not collect through the app
Based on the app’s described functionality, Tri Triyono does not receive your poem text, recordings, or timing results automatically. We do not use the app to build advertising profiles or to sell personal information. If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message (see Support).
Deleting your data
You can delete individual saved poem scores—and their associated phrasing versions and recordings—from the app’s settings or library controls. Deletion removes the related on-device metadata and audio files after you confirm. Uninstalling the app from your device also removes app-local data subject to how iOS handles app removal.
Children
The app is a general creative tool for preparing literary reading. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app itself. If you believe a child has contacted us by email with personal details, write to the address below and we will respond appropriately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish a revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for the practices it describes.
