Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Wi|dz:Verse Line, an iOS app published by Tri Triyono (Indonesia). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Wi|dz:Verse Line helps you prepare oral reading of poetry. You create editable poem scores that keep author line breaks, add reader-controlled phrase boundaries, pauses, and emphasis, record readings on your device, and review locally measured voice and silence intervals aligned—approximately—with your marks. You may save multiple phrasing versions of one poem, compare their timing evidence, choose a preferred version, and record again from the saved score.

Your content and responsibility

You supply all poem text and recordings. You are responsible for having the rights to use and store that material and for how you perform or share readings outside the app. The app stores your scores and recordings on your device; it does not provide copyright clearance or public distribution for your works.

Accounts and availability

The app does not require an online account. Features depend on your device, iOS version, and available storage. Recording requires a working microphone and your permission when you choose to record.

Accuracy and limitations

Timing lanes and alignment views are aids for preparation and comparison. They are derived from on-device audio energy and silence detection, mapped to your score structure. They are approximate and are not word-level synchronization, automatic transcription, pronunciation scoring, or an evaluation of expressive quality. You should not rely on the app as a definitive metronome, adjudication tool, or speech-recognition system.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it beyond what law allows, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law. You remain responsible for backups of content you care about; deleting scores in the app or removing the app can permanently erase local data.

Purchases and pricing

These Terms do not describe in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid tiers for Wi|dz:Verse Line. If Apple’s App Store listing or in-app screens later offer paid features, those offers will be governed by Apple’s payment terms and any additional terms shown at the point of purchase. Nothing here creates a billing relationship beyond what is explicitly presented in the store or app at the time you buy.

Intellectual property

Tri Triyono retains rights in the app’s name, design, and software, except for content you provide. Your poems and recordings remain yours, subject to your own agreements and laws.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free alignment, or that every recording will produce usable timing segments (for example, when permission is denied or audio is empty).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tri Triyono is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing—whichever applies under law.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. We may cease offering or updating the app where permitted by law and platform rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. The updated date above indicates the current version. Material changes may also be reflected in App Store release notes where appropriate.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.
